I plan to be home in Mallorca for most of July if anybody would like help with their golf.
I recently bought a set of PXG irons. I can highly recommend these clubs, they are very good. I bought them because they have modern-day lofts and I am now hitting the ball about 18 yards further. As opposed to an old 7 iron having a tournament loft of 35 degrees, the 7 iron in my new set has 30 degrees, which makes a difference in length of over one club.
The PXG fitting centre in Esher is very impressive, certainly state-of-the-art and well worth seeing.
The new football season starts soon, my football team Ipswich Town have lost a few players, but still have a strong squad. Let's hope they have a good season and challenge for promotion back to the Premiership.
The manager, Kieren McKenna is going to stay at Ipswich, which is great news. I don't think they would find a better manager.
