Hopefully, this winter is coming to an end but a lot of golf courses are still closed due to flooding and it could take some time for them to fully recover. 

This winter has not been a nice time to play golf.

I became a grandfather on May 20 last year and have a lovely grandson, so I am in the process of making a few small golf clubs.

I hope to be at home in Mallorca for about a week every month from February through to June if anybody would like help with their golf.

Meanwhile, my football team Ipswich Town continue to do well after a successful season last year gaining promotion to the championship.  New owners, a very good manager in Kieran McKenna, and CEO Mark Ashton have made the difference after a few years of struggling badly.

I hope they go on to have Brighton's success, from not having a Stadium a few years ago to challenging for a top spot in the premiership.
